Inside Villa Khasro

Photographs often tell more and give a better description than words.   These photographs show the three bedrooms in Villa Khasro.  Although the rooms may seem dark, this is more because of the dark hardwood of the walls rather than a lack of natural light.

Room 1:  The largest of the three rooms

The first room is the largest of the three and contains a queen sized bed.  The wooden walls give the room a cool relaxing ambience and will provide one with a relaxing stay.   This room is also the first room one encounters when walking towards the back of the house from the dining and living rooms.

Room 2:  A room in a kampong house.

The second room has one window but best characterises a room in a true Malay kampong house.  At the center of the house, the room offers a little more privacy than room 1. It is also furnished with a queen sized bed besides a few antique furniture pieces.  It shares a bathroom with room 1.

Finally, the third room is up a short flight of stairs.  Probably the smallest of the three rooms, it compensates by having its own bathroom and being surrounded by windows.  This room is a recent addition to the house but when the windows are open, it affords a unique view.  You will never fail to be amused when you look up at the unique ceiling when lying on the bed.

Room 3: Up the staircase
