Welcome to Villa Khasro

The front entrance to Villa Khasro
Villa Khasro is a traditional Malay kampung house made of solid hardwood located in the heart of the small kampong of Janda Baik, Pahang.  The house is airy and spacious and furnished with antique wood furniture.  The fresh kampong air and its proximity to the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, makes the house an ideal weekend getaway for busy city folk.  In the morning, when the wooden windows of Villa Khasro are pushed open, the view includes an expansive garden in front of the house as well as Gunung Naung in the distance.

Janda Baik has recently become popular with city folk and the normally sleepy kampong is often busy during the weekends.  Some of the activities that can be organised, with Villa Khasro as the base, are bathing in the river, hiking - including up Gunung Naung - bicycling, as well as fishing for tilapia and other fresh-water fish at the near by family-run lake retreat in Sungai Panjang.  In 2015, short excursions can be organised to the family orchard in Gombak, located approximately 30 km west of Janda Baik.

Presently, three rooms in Villa Khasro are available for short rentals at promotional rates. This makes Villa Khasro a good venue to hold family gatherings.  Rental will include use of the entire house including the living room, kitchen and a cosy family area. Catering can be arranged or guests may choose to stroll to nearby eateries.  The spacious front grassy area is also ideal for evening tea parties or wedding receptions.  Interested parties can obtain further information by writing to villakhasro@gmail.com.
